Part 1
I have loved elephants since I was a child, so I did not hesitate to choose elephants as my research object. In the past five weeks, these tasks have helped me a lot. First of all, by doing exercises, I gradually understood what annotation is, what is plagiarism, and what is paraphrase. These are very helpful for me to write my literature review essay. I gradually became familiar with how to summarize and refine the essence of the reference, and then turn it into my own knowledge. These references have a very good inspiration for my article. At the same time, after practicing the reading order of references a few times, I gradually like to read references. I like to read in my own order. Finally, in the weekly blog sharing, I can see the blogs of many other students. Many people study elephants. Their blog is also a great inspiration to my literature review essay.
Part 2
In my draft literature review essay, I carefully write in accordance with the word count and reference requirements. At the same time, I follow the research field I set for myself, namely, the social behavior of elephants. I don't think I strayed from the subject. In my thesis, I divided the social behavior of my elephant into several categories and described them separately. But I think some aspects of the narrative are still a bit complicated, such as the part of the communication between elephants that I wrote too cumbersome. I hope it can be simplified.
Part 3
The SMC issue I want to focus on next week is the contradiction between elephants and humans. On the Internet, elephants are not only squeezed into smaller and smaller areas, but farmers have grown crops that elephants like to eat. As a result, elephants often attack and destroy crops. They can also be very dangerous. At the same time, due to the destruction of crops, farmers have reduced their sources of income and become increasingly poor. So I want to study how to reconcile the contradiction between elephants and humans. I will choose two organizations to assist my research, namely Save the Elephants and World Wildlife Fund. The information I have collected so far is that we can use pepper and tobacco-based deterrent measures to keep elephants away from the fields. At the same time, we can also grow crops that elephants do not like.
