Hi, my name is Melody Shi and this is my second year in UCI. I haven't decided my major yet but I plan to do ESS. This website is the portfolio of my Writing 39C course. My portfolio includes blog, Twitter, research agenda, revision strategies and the final draft of my advocate project.

Writing 39C focuses on critical reading and rhetoric. It teaches you how to use  intellectual strategies to identify and use various genres and rhetorical situations to reach the communicative purpose. The core of this course is to conduct research and to use various types of evidence. This 39C’s topic is animal science and my topic is elephant.
